LASIK & FEMTO LASIK
LASIK (Laser-Assisted-In-Situ-Keratomileusis) treats refractive errors by folding back the top layer of the eye and re-shaping tissue underneath. Surgeons will either use a mechanical instrument called a microkeratome, or a femtosecond laser to create the flap. After the flap is folded back, an excimer laser treats the eye for the individual refractive error. The laser only ablates the necessary tissue, leaving the surrounding tissue unaffected.
ReLEx SMILE
ReLEx Smile treats refractive errors by creating a lenticule by laser without creating any flap through a very small 2 mm keyhole incision only instead of a 22mm cut in LASIK

Implantable contact lenses (ICL)
- For patient who are not ideal candidate for LASIK or PRK or SMILE, Implantable contact lenses is
the answer - The collamer ICL is an extra micro-thin lens, just like the contact lens which is placed inside
the eye, rather than on the surface of the eye - It is specially shaped to correct near-sightedness, far-sightedness and astigmastism
- The lens works in a similar way as glasses or contact lenses by changing the way light is
focused on the retina
